Don Bosco Namakkal is part of a worldwide network inspired by the vision of St. John Bosco, a 19th-century educator and social reformer who believed in nurturing the young with kindness, guidance, and opportunities.
In Namakkal, our journey began with a special concern for children who were often left out because of the stigma surrounding HIV in their families. Though these children were not affected themselves, they were socially excluded and denied opportunities. With care, education, and family-like support, we gave them a home and hope.
Over the years, our work has grown far beyond the Children’s Home. Today, we accompany children, youth, and families who face social, economic, or educational challenges. Through education, skill development, counselling, and community outreach, Don Bosco Namakkal continues to be a place where dignity, learning, and opportunity are nurtured.
